Welcome to Carpenders Park Church, Watford. We are a small, friendly fellowship with a passion for Jesus, for the people in our community and for enjoying being together.

We endeavour to make our Sunday meetings relaxed, informal and relevant for today. We worship God together and have time for a talk applying the truth of the Bible to everyday life. We hope visitors will feel welcome and comfortable and we invite you to pop along up to 20 minutes early for a tea, coffee, and chat.

Carpenders Park Church meets in St Meryl School (The Mead, Watford WD19 5BT). Some weeks the chairs will be positioned round tables and others they’ll be in rows (or arcs). At the time of writing, we have a keyboard player, a guitarist & bassist and our fall-back position is to play pre-recorded tracks through the PA (something only relied upon once to date).

WHERE DO I PARK?

The school has a small car park. If the car park is full, then please park considerately in The Mead or Foxleys.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

Come as you are, however you feel comfortable. We don’t have a dress code! Brian will probably be the only guy in a tie and, if the sun is out, Stewart is likely to be in shorts and open sandals.

WHERE DO I SIT?

You can sit wherever you feel comfortable. If you have difficulty locating a seat meeting your requirements or just need a strong arm next to you to get up and down; do seek assistance.

HOW LONG IS THE SERVICE?

Our services usually start at 11am and last around 1hr and 15mins.

We don’t need to rush away after the service has ended, we take the opportunity catch up with friends and maybe pray together.

IS THERE PROVISION FOR CHILDREN & YOUTH?

If you are looking for a fantastic programme on Sundays for children and young people, with groups for all ages……then, as things currently stand, CPC probably isn’t best positioned for you. HOWEVER we often have a small number of older children and we will always do our best to make children of all ages welcome and have an enjoyable time in an all age Sunday School.
